After an alarm code went unanswered by CPI I found out that our system was not going through as a cell call as I was told it would when we cancelled our land line one yearago. Very upset, I called the company to find out that for the last year they were not monitoring our home even though we had been paying for the monthly monitoring.

I was told I needed to upgrade my system to route the call to a cell phone which would cost us 49.99 per month and we would need to sign a 60 month contract. We have been CPI customers for over 10 years. If CPI had made their monthly test calls they would have seen that there was a problem. Why on earth would I sign a contract with a company who does not do what I pay them to do?

Adding insult, they sent Technician to my house to make the system inoperable. They cut the wires and took the motherboard so that we could not use the system at all. Oh my gosh! This is how they treat customers of 10 years.
